Embracing Radical Optimism: Introduction to Permaculture Ethics and Principles

Begin to see your food and your garden with new eyes and explore how sustainability can be integrated into your garden, as well as your life. In this workshop we will explore the design system of Permaculture.  We will discuss how working with nature instead of against it and modeling human systems after natural ecosystem design can help us to produce more abundance, avoid waste, creatively use and respond to change, identify patterns and hidden resources, and much more!

Designing Fruit Tree Guilds

Learn how Guilds create an efficient, low-labor, healthy mini-ecosystem and leave ready to complete a fruit tree guild design for your own space. This hands-on workshop will allow for in-depth questions about the roles of different plants in a Guild, learning how to conduct their own site analysis, and reaching a deeper understanding of Permaculture Design Principles- which relate to both gardening and a sustainable lifestyle.
