Wheel of the Year: Ostara Ritual Kit for a Time of Seeds, Not Flowers

$65.00

As the wheel of the year turns, our next event occurs between March 20-23 wherein we observe the vernal equinox, which some call Ostara. The spring equinox is a time of balance and renewal, a time of subtle signs of new life and growth. A time of seeds, not yet the flowers. But where we see the buds forming and feel the warming earth with the creatures stirring underground.

What is stirring in you this season? What will the season of growth bring for you?

The Ostara Ritual Kit explores our relationship to renewal and rebirth, healing and hope through writings on the deities associated with springtime, symbolism of hares and worms, and rituals and recipes for connecting with the power of seeds as metaphor and life force.

In this ritual kit you will find:

  • Persephone’s Return Healing Lotion – Prepare for the rebirth of springtime with a healing shea butter lotion crafted to support skin rejuvenation, heal inflammation, and increase elasticity - needed for this transitional time between winter and the soil work of gardening season.

With frankincense to purify and enhance spiritual connections, rose and blue tansy to draw love and strength, and rosemary to accelerate bringing your intentions to manifestation.

  • Wildflower Seedball Ritual Craft with two examples of native wildflower seedballs and ingredients for you to craft your own - with optional rituals for infusing the seedballs with your intentions for this growing season.

    Collaborator offerings include:

  • Persephone Collage insert altar card, and contributed writings from Sarah Luczko, writer, curator, and owner of Space Oddities in Chicago

  • Strength and Hope custom handcrafted Vernal Equinox container candle from Damian Han of Solis Illuminatum, known in Chicago and beyond for high quality natural soy and beeswax ritual candles, extensive knowledge of gods and goddesses, and the magical properties of herbs infused in his work.

  • A handmade booklet featuring guest writing contributions and artwork from Sarah Luczko of Space Oddities and Damian Han of Solis Illuminatum on the deities associated with springtime, springtime rituals and altar suggestions, and ways to observe the holiday today, mediation themes, journal prompts, ritual suggestions and more!

Each element of the Ostara Ritual Kit: A Time of Seeds, Not Flowers is selected to support your observance of this holiday, so you can fully partake in its gifts.
